A Baby Boomer child, Kathie Fitzpatrick is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and grew up enjoying all the local color and beauty of the area. From enjoying family trips over to northern California beaches, to exploring now famous landmarks of the area. Some memories range from her dad, Henry, taking her out to lunch at the famous Cathay House in Chinatown as a young child, to her Mom, Ruby taking her and the siblings to the historic “Playland at the Beach” with famous 18 ft character, the hot air propelled “laughing Sal” greeting all who arrived there, to San Francisco Zoo and Golden Gate Park– Kathie had great experiences growing up in the San Francisco region.

Later in her high school years, living in the Contra Costa area, Kathie excelled in Advanced Art, Music, Writing, Public Speaking, and Drama. This well prepared her for her later young adult years in which she was employed as a Television Producer, and on-camera talent for shows like California Tonight, a magazine show, and a the co-creator of a variety of award-winning programs such as ACCENT ON HEALTH, hosted by the stunning Maureen Salaman, PHD in Nutrition, and the author of the best-selling book, “Nutrition the Cancer Answer.” Well-known doctors of the day were also involved in advising in the production of this popular program. These programs were developed and aired through the KFCB Chanel 42 Family Christian Network located in Northern California.

Kathie and her TV Engineer husband, John FitzPatrick, co-produced a variety of TV programs that were aired both locally, nationally, and internationally. ACCENT ON HEALTH, aired on the TBN satellite internationally for the last two years gaining an audience of approximately 240 million viewers!

In 1990, Kathie and John made a decision to move to the Northwest…WA State, and change their hectic lifestyle to one that was more conducive to family life and raising small children.  Kathie went into a part-time TV Producing job for a TBN Affiliate locally, and John went back to Plant Engineering for a company that marketed internationally but was based locally.  Some of the best things about this major move were: cashing out on a large family home, and that work was only a ten-minute commute, a true luxury compared to their former California lifestyle!

In 1994, Kathie went into Real Estate, and she and her husband also became Income Property Owners. Years later in 2014 when Kathie was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, she was well prepared to address the issue with a combination of both past and present knowledge of the subject, and the keen ability to do research.   It was quite a challenging health journey, which she documents in her 2024 book release, “ACHIEVING GREATER HEALTH AND BEAUTY AFTER BREAST CANCER,” (Xulon Press) She received a scan clear of cancer in February of 2019, and the rest is history!
